Time Moves Slow

Time Moves Slow is a song by Canadian instrumental group BADBADNOTGOOD featuring vocals from Samuel T. Herring of Future Islands, released on their 2016 album IV. The composition features a laid-back, soulful jazz-hip-hop groove paired with melancholy lyricism. The themes center on heartbreak, loneliness, and the agonizingly slow passage of time following the end of a relationship. Reflective lyrics emphasize how running away from emotional pain comes easily, while living with the painful lingering memories remains difficult.
