Why onset.to?
I've been interested in psychedelics for over 20 years. I'm active in multiple subreddits, read the latest research, hang out in closed communities, and watch pretty much every new video from a small handful of content creators I trust.
What's been happening in the psychedelic space over the past few years is incredible. The renaissance is real - new studies, clinical breakthroughs, policy shifts, talks, documentaries, podcasts. But at some point, I started losing track. Too many sources, too many platforms, too much happening at once.
That's why I built onset.to . One place where I can check in once a day and know I haven't missed anything important.
The idea
Think of it as Hacker News , but for the psychedelic space. Every piece of content gets a short summary, substance tags, topic tags, and format tags. You can filter by what you care about and skip the rest.
No engagement optimization, no clickbait ranking. Just a chronological stream of everything that's happening, filtered and framed so it stays worth reading.
How it works
We automatically monitor YouTube channels, RSS feeds, news sites, and research databases. New content gets analyzed, tagged, and summarized. A curation model then scores every entry for relevance and quality: off-topic finds are filtered out of the stream, and each week the strongest entries are selected as the homepage picks. The community reviews entries, corrects tags, and submits what the monitoring misses.
Scope and disclaimer
onset.to is a non-commercial hobby project. It exists to make journalistic coverage, research, and public debate in the psychedelic space easier to follow.
In short: Aggregates journalistic content. Not a recommendation or guide for consumption. Content is provided for informational purposes only.
Who is this for?
Anyone who wants to stay informed about the psychedelic space without spending hours on research.
Whether you're a researcher looking for the latest studies, a therapist keeping up with clinical developments, a psychonaut curious about new findings, or simply someone who just got interested - onset.to gives you a curated starting point.
Where does the content come from?
We monitor a growing list of sources: YouTube channels, scientific journals like Nature and Frontiers, news outlets, podcasts, blogs, and more. If a source consistently publishes quality content about psychedelics, we add it.
Missing a source? Let us know and we'll review it.
Built with the community
onset.to only works if people use it, share it, and help shape it. You can submit links , correct tags, suggest sources, or just tell us what's missing.
We've started a community on Reddit where you can discuss entries, give feedback, and connect with others in the space.
