múm - Yesterday Was Dramatic - Today Is OK

Experimental electronic and ambient soundscapes form the cornerstone of múm's debut album, Yesterday Was Dramatic - Today Is OK. The music blends gentle glockenspiel melodies, soft acoustic instrumentation, microbeats, and subtle glitch synthesis to create an immersive, dreamlike aesthetic. The audio journey progresses through delicate textures and atmospheric field recordings, building organic rhythm out of synthetic components. The soundscape evokes feelings of nostalgia, childlike wonder, and quiet introspection, standing as a landmark release in early 2000s IDM and folktronica.
