Boards of Canada - Music Is Math

Electronic music track Music Is Math by Scottish duo Boards of Canada, originally released on their 2002 album Geogaddi, features warm analog synthesizers, hypnotic breakbeats, and subtle vocal samples. Accompanying visuals combine archival scientific footage of radar dishes, satellite launches, and control room operations with surreal, vintage black-and-white clips. The juxtaposition evokes themes of retro-futurism, cold war technology, and psychological exploration. The aesthetic interplay between nostalgic electronic soundscapes and historical archival imagery creates a reflective, dreamlike atmosphere that aligns with the duo's signature melancholic and trippy sound.
