Five rap albums inspired by ayahuasca retreats, entheogenic medicine, mystical spirituality, and the Kumankaya community

Jordan Bates recommends five rap albums connected to ayahuasca, retreats, entheogenic medicine, and the Kumankaya community. The list includes IOWASCA, New Earth Music, Christahuasca, The Ayahuasca Freestyles, and The KumankAya Bufo Styles, projects co-created with CoryaYo or Culturepilgrim. Bates says several songs were recorded at Kumankaya, including freestyle material exploring nonduality, life, death, rebirth, God, freedom, love, consciousness, and psychedelics. Christahuasca combines ayahuasca with Christian and shamanic themes, while the 40-song Bufo project has a rough, largely unmastered DIY character. The post also promotes an upcoming Kumankaya retreat, describing ceremonies, workshops, meditation, breathwork, dance, sound healing, and nature immersion, with recommended donations of $1,800 to $2,800 and possible scholarships.
