Hyperspace lexicon: A community glossary of DMT journey vocabulary and encountered entities

The Hyperspace Lexicon is a community-compiled glossary for describing DMT experiences and the entities reportedly encountered during them. It defines informal terms for phases, sensations, visual phenomena, altered states, emotional responses, and perceived environments, including breakthrough, hyperspace, carrier wave, ego death, closed and open eye visuals, pre-flight anxiety, hyperslap, waiting room, and witness consciousness. A second major section organizes reported entities through traditional categories such as machine elves, jesters, light beings, and dark entities, alongside alternative classifications of hyperspatial, extra-dimensional, and local beings. The page emphasizes that these accounts are subjective and that some classifications derive from individual reports, including one explicitly described as potentially chronicling a psychotic break rather than typical DMT encounters. It also includes community slang and references to DMT extracts such as jungle spice.
