Grow Mushrooms with Shroomtek

Mushroom cultivation using an all-in-one grow bag offers a simplified approach to mycological projects. This process begins by inspecting the substrate and sanitizing the work space with 70 percent isopropyl alcohol to prevent contamination. Although the demonstration occurs in open air, employing a still-air box dramatically increases success rates for home growers. Once sterilized, the substrate is inoculated with 2.5 to 5 cc of liquid culture via the bag's injection port. The bag remains stored for roughly one month to allow for mycelial growth, followed by a break-and-shake step to accelerate colonization. A final two-week period leads to full colonization, after which a small incision in the bag triggers the pinning phase, eventually culminating in a successful harvest.
