John Lilly and the Earth Coincidence Control Office - Official Trailer - Oscilloscope Laboratories

John Lilly explored human consciousness through rigorous isolation research and experimentation with psychoactive substances. His work challenged established physical boundaries and sought to understand sentient behavior through interspecies communication, specifically with dolphins. Lilly believed these animals possessed a unique form of wisdom and ability to communicate that operated far beyond conventional human experience. The pursuit involved developing isolation tanks to provide a controlled environment for these deep exploratory states, viewing the process as an attempt to navigate the intricate mechanisms of human consciousness itself.
