MAPS Submits Protocol Amendment 4, Version 1 to FDA for MJP2 Phase 2 Study

MAPS submitted Protocol Amendment 4, Version 1 (A4V1) to the FDA for review for the MJP2 Phase 2 study of cannabis for veterans with PTSD. The submission, dated January 30, 2026, is intended to complete administrative and operational refinements ahead of study initiation. A4V1 updates the previously cleared smoking-only protocol (A3V1). It removes duplicative procedures, updates screening and secondary outcome measures to reduce participant burden, and adds administrative updates for clarity and consistency while MAPS continues working with FDA for regulatory compliance and study start-up.
