Jamie Wheal - Gimme That Old Time Religion: Rational Mysticism vs. Western Chauvinism

Rational mysticism is presented as an alternative to the binary trap of religious fundamentalism and nihilism. Modern Western culture suffers from a meaning crisis, leading people toward extreme and potentially damaging belief systems. Instead of retreating into traditional religious structures or falling into destructive patterns, a conscious approach to building new ethical frameworks is proposed. By integrating ancient wisdom with contemporary understandings of consciousness, transformative social cultures can be developed to address the current societal challenges, encouraging individuals to act with shared responsibility and purpose.
