Light Show by Paul Friedlander

Paul Friedlander creates immersive, hypnotic experiences using light and kinetic sculpture to alter visual perception. By manipulating light-emitting strings and rotating rings at high speeds, these installations produce intricate, three-dimensional patterns that appear to float in space. The performances illustrate the interplay between physics and perceptual psychology, demonstrating how light can be used to construct complex geometric shapes. These displays serve as a bridge between pure technical innovation and artistic expression, offering viewers a way to engage with light as a tangible and fluid medium.
