The Rose of Paracelsus: On Secrets & Sacraments - Synergetic Press Catalog listing by William Leonard Pickard

LSD chemists known as "The Six" and their secret global network are presented through the voice of a Harvard researcher in The Rose of Paracelsus: On Secrets & Sacraments. Set against places ranging from Cambridge and Oxford to Moscow, Zurich, Bangkok, and Mazar-i-Sharif, the narrative frames psychedelic synthesis as "sacramental science" and focuses on altered states, memory and perception, and the evolution of human cognition. The book is also positioned as William Leonard Pickard's psychedelic literary autobiography, handwritten over four years in maximum-security federal prison cells, reflecting on carceral suffering alongside ecstatic revelation and blending chemistry with mysticism and alchemical language.
